As Scrapbox and Gyazo have grown to be used together more and more, we wanted it to be easier to see how they are connected.
Our mission is to make saving, sharing, and exploring ideas as natural as breathing.  The new design is meant to reflect this shared purpose of all our services. We are excited to share the new Nota with you.

Word mark
The previous word mark had some nice rounded elements but ultimately we felt it was better to start fresh. To guide the design process we identified three key concepts we wanted to convey: intuitive, playful, and organic.
Design samples
Color
We selected a color that is exceptionally vivid on screens and can be easily recalled: a deep, high energy blue.
From this start we explored a wide spectrum of designs before deciding on the new word mark. It has elements of directed energy, building block shapes, and flow. To us it symbolizes the seamless creative experiences that Nota is known for.
To support use in a range of contexts we have grayscale, monotone, and gradiant variants of the word mark as well as a range of accent colors. When seen on a business card, website, presentation, etc. the detail level can vary to provide the optimal balance of subtlety and impact.
